Toyo Ito’s architectures reflect his quest for the thin line that separates the real from the virtual, and as such they are lightweight, flexible and dematerialised. Cloud has been constructed by overlaying five thin amoeba-shaped acrylic plastic layers. The holes in the layers create an empty space where the light source is positioned.
