TOOL is a light, pliable stool, conceived as a mono-block, a homage to the sea world: its sensual curves, in fact, are an evident reminiscence of the mooring bollards that can be found scattered in ports all around the world. Made in composit of Bangladesh jute, TOOL is the first project developed within the “Gold of Bengal” programme, a humanitarian initiative aiming at developing in Bangladesh the use of this innovative and eco-friendly material, with excellent mechanical and technical features, able to substitute fibreglass. TOOL cann thus be interpreted as the manifesto of the ethical and technological vision of SAINTLUC.
